About Me

My photo
I'm a nerd at heart, but I think that planning is overrated and that spontaneity creates the best experiences. I can't make a decision to save my life and choosing my color of converses is about as serious as I can get on a day to day basis. And if I could eat ice cream for every meal, I would, minus my obsession with chai tea. Its a problem.

Of Course This Entry is Late and Out of Order~ October 6th

I really wanted to write about the two nights that I spent with my second roommate, Tamina, and her friends, so I am including it in my blog entry now, nearly three weeks later. I know that I am absolutely the BEST blogger ever, but the entries do get written eventually.

Tamina is Swiss-German, eighteen, silly and speaks much better French than I think I ever will. On the bright side she helped me improve my French, in only the ten days that she was in Paris.

As tonight was Wednesday, Tamina and I went out…to the metro station, Nation, which means that we took a five-minute train ride and hung out in a pavilion on the side of the Nation Square. It was sketchy as all hell, but it was great. We ended up drinking two bottles of Absolut and talking the night away in french, english and german? It was not my classiest moment, but it was a lot of fun.

For our second night of adventures, Tamina and I met up with her girlfriend, Franzizka, but I ended up not spending a lot of time with them. It was Tamina's last night here and I already miss her a lot, but Malina, my new roommate is amazing.
