Once upon a time I had a field trip on October 8th. Here we walked through trenches of World War Two and saw a few monuments. It was a nice day outside of class where I actually got to experience something of World War Two.
(The Trenches were designed in a zig-zag pattern to protect the men.)
(A monument designed to remember the French soldiers. There are many more for the Australians, Americans, English, Africans, ect who lost their lives during World War II. This area (northern France) also has cemeteries for the soldiers that lost their lives in France. There is even a German one.)
